Context Free Grammar for XPress Tags
Jul 31st
He
re is the context free grammar of XPress Tags which I formed in Backus Naur Form. This just shows only those XPress Tags attributes which are supported in Scribus. The full version of the grammar is still under development.
Please do check out this and report errors if any. I thank Andreas Vox (Scribus Developer) for helping me in forming this Grammar. Also, I’ve tested the same with a lexical analyzer formed using Flex and sounds okay for me.

Another special day in my life with Scribus
Jun 8th
This post is something special. We made a trial to share our Asianet internet connection by creating an ad-hoc connection and we succeded in our venture. Thanks to my dear friend Alex Poovathingal for the same. Now, we are able to connect to Internet in all our Laptops with Alex’s Dell Inspiron 1525 kept as Internet gateway.
I entered into chat with my sister and my friend Primal; also I opened my IRC client and connected to #scribus-dev. I was waiting for Pierre to respond for a long time and today, I got a response from him. I had earlier submitted a patch to him, in which I tried a hand to migrate QWorkspace class in Scribus to QMdiArea. This was needed since Qt documentation specifies that QWorkspace class is deprecated. I knew that execution of code which I gave will cause a few segmentation faults and I had specified that to him earlier. He gave me some wonderful reports after investigating my patch and asked me to work furthur on the same.
I saw Oleksandr Moskalenko ( IRC Nick: malex ) poking me and as usual, I entered to some nice chat with him. He asked for my email id, sf.net username etc. and I provided the same. Then the precious moment arrived. I got this message from malex : ” malex> jainbasil: I just added you as a member of Scribus project on sf.net ”
whoohoo… I was given Commit access to Scribus Subversion in sourceforge.net.
Thank God ! This was the moment I’ve been waiting for !
