Technofest ‘09 @ GEC, Thrissur
Sep 17th
I feel proud this moment as I’ve done something for the great Govt. Engineering College, Thrissur. Technofest is the one and only cultural festival for Engineering students in Kerala, and in this year’s Technofest, I represented my college for Eastern Group Song.
We performed 2 songs, “Raghuvamsha Sudha” and “Malayala Naadin ” with Ramamoorthy (S3 Chemical) on Drums, Allwin Jose ( S5 Chemical) on Guitar and me on Keyboard. We had a wonderful team of Singers, ( Appu V, Sujith H Das, Deepu V, Anjana K K, Reshma Jane, Midhula Jayanandan and Aswathi K Raghu) and we bagged second place for our performance.
Due to lack of sound from monitor kept on the stage, we could not hear anything other than some noise while performing. ( I don’t know who designed and constructed this Auditorium ) and the condition inside the auditorium was also pathetic due to echo. In the midst of performance, Ramamoorthy even told the volunteers that we are not able hear anything. We somehow managed to complete it and the whole credit goes to moorthy, who played drums without any feedback!
And last, we are planning to form a Band with this team !!
